Satisfaction

I find it tremendously satisfying to balance all of our receipts in Quicken.

Moving

We’re moving in less than 2 weeks. We’re moving outside of Toronto to the suburbs. It’ll be a big change from where we’re living now. Of course with any change there are upsides and downsides. I really can’t wait to be able to stretch out a little bit in our bigger space but we’ll also have to be very aware of our costs that are associated with a larger living area. We’ll be close to Marcy’s work and the daycare that we want for Jack. And as I’m sure most people who move to the suburbs say, we’re not that far from the city that we can’t come back to visit.

I’m wondering what other changes might be coming our way soon. I’ve been exploring some proposals tentatively though I’m not really sure when I want to dive into that whole process. I say this often enough but perhaps the time really has come. We’ll see but the first priority over the next few days is wrapping everything up that we need to get wrapped up at the house. That way the move will be as smooth of a transition as possible. This time we have cats and a baby to get accustomed to a new space.

Human flight

Wow is all I have to say about this video. Near the end one of the guys swoops near a road. I can’t imagine what the drivers in those cars must think when they see a person zoom by them at high speed.
